Account Closed With a Refund or After a Payment Dispute

Updated September 2026

If you sign in and see a status page instead of your dashboard, your ReviewWheel account has been suspended. This happens for one of two reasons, and the difference matters, so let's walk through both.

The two reasons an account gets suspended

The first is when we close the account and refund a payment in full. We stop the service that payment covered and issue the full refund. If you run several locations, service generally stops for the refunded location, and the dashboard closes once no location is left running. A partial refund changes nothing.

The second is a payment dispute — a chargeback filed with your bank. A dispute closes the whole account outright, and there is no self-serve way to reopen it. If you believe a dispute was a mistake, email support@reviewwheel.com and we'll look into it.

What suspension means day to day

While an account is suspended, review requests stop going out and the dashboard is closed. Signing in still works — it simply shows a status page with the reason and the date. Nothing is deleted at first, so your data is still there.

Turning a refunded account back on

If we closed the account and refunded a payment, and the 30-day window is still open, the status page has a section called You Can Turn It Back On. Pay the refunded amount back in full — the exact amount is shown right there — and everything starts again. Payment is by card on the page through secure checkout, and your account opens back up as soon as the payment clears. It can take a minute, so refresh shortly after; occasionally we need to check something first, and if so the page says exactly that and our team is already alerted.

Only the account owner can do this. If you're not the owner, ask them to sign in and pay it back.

The 30-day deadline

The reinstatement offer ends 30 days after the suspension date — the status page shows the exact day. Once the 30 days pass, the account is queued for permanent deletion and your account data is removed for good. If the window has passed, or a dispute-related closure needs anything, email support@reviewwheel.com — the contact link is right on the status page.
